What training methods are available?
Here at PlasmaPen, we want to help you fit your training into your lifestyle. This is why we offer both online and face-to-face training sessions with our incredible Master Trainers.
When you sign up for online training, you will receive automatic access to our Louise Walsh Academy. Here you will follow the same training program you would follow at a face-to-face training day, but from the comfort of your own home, salon or studio.
Once you’ve completed the Anatomy and Physiology training course, you will move on to learning all about the incredible treatments that can be delivered with your brand new PlasmaPen. Finally, you will book a time that is suitable for you to meet with one of our Master Trainers via Zoom for the live-streamed part of the assessment. You will learn all the fibroblasting techniques needed to perform treatments and be required to complete case studies in your own time which once completed, you will then be certified by one of our Master Trainers and start your journey as a PlasmaPen technician.
Our face-to-face training session follows a similar format. You will be required to complete the online Anatomy & Physiology via the student portal prior to training and during the first part of the day, you will learn more about PlasmaPen treatments and how to deliver these safely followed by a live demonstration by the Master Trainer. The afternoon session will be your turn with the opportunity for you to deliver your first, hands-on, live treatment using live models provided by us under close supervision and guidance of the Master Trainer.
Following this, you will have the opportunity to put your learning to the test by practicing on one of our models under the close supervision of our Master Trainer. Once they are satisfied with your progress and technique, you will be certified and able to start delivering PlasmaPen fibroblasting treatments from your studio or salon.
