After a successful refresher training session held earlier this month for our UK-based PlasmaPen technicians, we are now bringing to you a refresher course, especially for our US-based technicians. We know many of your salons and clinics are in the process of reopening, which is why we are delighted to announce that we have created this FREE refresher training course for existing PlasmaPen trained technicians based in the USA. This post details everything we will be covering, along with details on how to sign up.
Refresher training for PlasmaPen
Brush up your PlasmaPen treatment and fibroblasting skills with our completely free-of-charge PlasmaPen refresher training. Our PlasmaPen Master Trainer will be delivering this free PlasmaPen training session on Tuesday 30th June, via Zoom.
Our Master Trainer will be addressing both Level 3 and Level 4 PlasmaPen training. Training will be available at the following times:
- Level 3 (Elite) PlasmaPen Training – Tuesday 30th June 2020 at 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm BST
- Level 4 (Advanced) PlasmaPen Training – Tuesday 30th June 2020 at 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm BST
Please be aware these timings are British Summer Time, meaning the timing may vary depending on where exactly you are based in the US.
Elite PlasmaPen Refresher Training (Level 3)
Our PlasmaPen Elite Level 3 refresher training is designed to give a comprehensive overview of treatments using our PlasmaPen device, including how to deliver them. Join us online via Zoom at 5:00 pm BST on Tuesday 30th June 2020 to refresh yourself on:
- How to avoid hyperpigmentation following PlasmaPen treatments
- What your client needs to do in preparation for a PlasmaPen treatment
- How to correctly care for your treated skin to ensure prompt healing
- Delivering the Plasma Peel treatment
- How to use Fractional and Permeating Tips
- How to create the best lift and pull on the skin with our different soft-surgical techniques
- Which pulse points to use for each device

Advanced PlasmaPen Refresher Training (Level 4)
Our PlasmaPen Advanced Level 4 refresher training is designed to boost your confidence in delivering more advanced PlasmaPen treatments. We understand you have now spent a number of months away from your clients and maybe feeling a little rusty – after all, practice makes perfect! This is why we want you to start confidently delivering treatments from the moment you’re able to reopen your clinic, spa, or studio. Join us online via Zoom at 7:30 pm BST on Tuesday 30th June 2020 to refresh yourself on:
- How to safely remove moles and treat clients with moles
- How to remove skin lesions and how to use the PlasmaPen to treat scarring
- How to treat stretch marks
- How to treat clients with acne and acne-scarred skin
How to register for PlasmaPen refresher training
To book your place on our PlasmaPen refresher training, you must have previously studied to be a PlasmaPen technician with PlasmaPen by Louise Walsh International. You will be asked to provide your certificate number from your original training course. To book onto our PlasmaPen refresher training course:
- Send an email to training@plasmapen.com with the subject line “PlasmaPen Refresher Training”
- Within your email, outline which training course you will be registering for; either Level 3 (Elite) or Level 4 (Advanced)
- Due to the streamed nature of this course, please include any questions you would like to ask within your email, to be answered during the training course
- Include your existing PlasmaPen certification number within your email.
A member of the PlasmaPen by Louise Walsh International team will be in touch with you as soon as possible to confirm your place.
