Storage
Making sure that your PlasmaPen is stored somewhere safe is key, especially if you want to reduce the chances of it becoming accidentally damaged or misplaced. You also need to store it in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight. Having a dedicated space to store your PlasmaPen also means that you always know where it is. Leaving your PlasmaPen out opens it up to the possibility of becoming damaged, lost and impacted by its surroundings.
Cleaning
It’s important to keep your PlasmaPen device clean and sanitised between uses, which includes cleaning the tip and the device itself. This can be done using a mild detergent. Cleaning your PlasmaPen device is important for two reasons; it’s hygienic and cleaning sansitises it before use on the next patient, whilst prolonging how long the device looks brand new. When you are performing a treatment on a client, clean equipment showcases professionalism and a high quality service. If you keep on top of PlasmaPen cleaning and clean it regularly, it’s a quick and easy task.
Breakage
Before using your PlasmaPen, make sure to familiarise yourself with the manufacturer’s instructions for use. This will help you to get the most out of your device, whilst ensuring that you are using it correctly. Using a PlasmaPen incorrectly could result in it needing replacing sooner than it should. If you do notice a fault with your PlasmaPen, do not attempt to repair the device on your own. Without the expertise and experience needed to fix a PlasmaPen device, you run the risk of doing more harm than good.
It is also important to note that the cable that is supplied with our PlasmaPen is the only cable which should be used or it will blow the motherboard with a power surge as regular cables are 7v and ours is 5v so a different voltage and this is not covered under the warranty.
