by PlasmaPenUSAJul 6,2022Plasma Pen™ Guide

Post Treatment

After your Plasma Pen treatment, you may experience some side effects. Be sure to follow all the post-treatment guidelines to ensure optimal results and to protect your investment. Although the treatment is usually pain-free, some people may find it moderately uncomfortable, depending on the area being treated and their own sensitivities.

Aftercare Instructions for Post Plasma Pen Treatment

If you experience any of the following side effects, which can be expected after your Plasma Pen treatment, follow each of the following steps:

Immediately Following Treatment

Apply a cooling reusable face mask to the treated area for 20 minutes to reduce heat in the skin.

Apply PlasmaPen Colloidal Silver or PlasmaPen Advanced Repair Healing Balm to the treated area to help soothe and protect the skin.

Continue to gently cool the skin.

This is the first step to reducing the redness that may occur. You should expect to see some redness for the next two to three days.

24 hours After Treatment

Use PlasmaPen cleansing wipes to gently dab over the skin or alternatively boiled cooled water to gently cleanse the skin, do not saturate the skin, keep it as dry as possible.

Apply PlasmaPen Tinted spf50++ Balm in the morning and Advanced Repair Healing Lotion at night.

Continue with colloidal silver if the skin feels warm or looks red.

At 48 to 72 hours After Treatment

Continue as above to apply the treatment products as necessary. The redness and irritation should subside.

After One Week After Treatment

Your carbon crusts will have mostly shed by this point.

Continue to protect your skin from the sun and keep it hydrated.

Your skin may still be a little pink, this is normal, and it will subside in another week’s time.

Post-treatment Side-Effects

Slight redness: This is expected for 48 to 72 hours after treatment. Any other redness or irritation should be reported to the doctor immediately.  Infections are highly unlikely due to the fact PlasmaPen creates sealed wounds to the skin therefore no pathogens can enter the skin.

This is expected for 48 to 72 hours after treatment. Any other redness or irritation should be reported to the doctor immediately. Skin peeling: After treatment, some peeling is normal. Continue to use the aftercare products until the treated area is completely healed.

When Should You See a Doctor?

If you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor immediately:

An allergic reaction

Fever

Feeling faint

Pain

If you administer your own treatment, always seek professional help should any of the following occur:

You cannot feel skin during treatment.

Conclusion

The Plasma Pen is a simple, effective treatment for a number of different skin conditions and is a great alternative to more invasive methods.
